Welcome to the surface experts

Zaremba Korrosionsschutz GmbH / Zaremba corrosion protection Ltd was founded by Willy Zaremba in 1976. In 2001 Stefan Küpper took over the company as managing director. Reference installations can be found in various industries e.g. chemistry, heavy industrial equipment and other major installations.

We supply the domestic and international market. We have always been busy with the application and the processing technology to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals against chemical and electrochemical destruction, by coating the eqipment with special resins. We also supply special thermal hardening coatings for air-, gas- and watertechnical installations.

Some of our key accounts are BASF, Ineos, Evonik, Bayer, BP, Shell, Degussa and MAN Turbomaschinen with whom we are known for our high quality standards.

Company History –
40 years of experience

1976
Having completed his education as coating technician successfully Willy Zaremba decides to become self employed. With his current concept he has hindsight on 20 years of experience.

1977
Willy Zaremba founds his company “Zaremba Korrosionsschutz GmbH” / Zaremba corrosion protection ltd. Choosing his location wasn`t difficult. In between Rhein and Ruhr amidst heavy industry he manages to find a suitable production facility in Gladbeck. The company starts with the coating of radial compressors and tubes.

1978
The first heat exchanger is coated from the inside.

1985
The demand for Zacosin products increases steadily. This requires a expansion of the production capacity. At the end of 1985 the completion of a new building is celebrated. The expansion of the production facility is finalised an now offers 1.000 sqm.

1994
Increasing demands in production require innovative solutions. Willy Zaremba develops the coating material ZACOSIN® 2000Q. After a short testing period the material is being applied with various key accounts and diverse installations.

1998
The present managing director, Stefan Küpper, starts working for Zaremba Korrosionsschutz GmbH after completing his education. He will keep this position until 2001.

2001
Stefan Küpper acquires the company and starts the succession to Willy Zaremba.

2002
The acquisition of heavier material moving and transportation equipment allows the increase of weight from 15t to 22,5t.

2004
The sinthering oven is equipped with the latest technology. For smaller parts an additional oven is purchased.

2006
30th Anniversary. Two bigger fork lift trucks replace the former models. A new compressed air facility is put into
operation.

2007
The foundation of a small laboratory guarantees a faster response to customer requirements and concerns.

2008
New personnel facilities are being installed.

2009
Expansion of the production capacity and storage area is carried out.

2017
Restart under new company name Zacosin® the surface expert UG Managing Director Tanja Küpper

2018
Purchase of a new coating plant

2019
After successful restart change of the company form into a GmbH
